A 3 week Ayurveda course to create a basic awareness in the science and to orient a person according to the ayurvedic style of living - a minimum of 30 hours of lectures and practicals including hospital visits. Classes are only from Monday to Friday. Some of the week-ends might be used for hospital visits. If not, you can use your week-ends for relaxing at the centre or for travelling to the nearby destinations. Vijnana Kala Vedi will be pleased to offer you, to learn or participate in the workshops of any one of the art forms of your choice, usually offered at the centre, for about one hour a day from Mondays to Fridays, at no extra cost. Yoga and Martial art lessons as offered through common sessions to all students.
Participants: Foreign nationals who have had basic education, with the knowledge of English(to read, write and speak), and an open mind and respect towards Indian culture .

Intense yoga course May 2009
An Intense course on Hatha Yoga in India
Vijnana Kala Vedi organises a one month long Intense Course on Basics of Hatha Yoga and a Teacher's Training Course.Our 29 years long experience and the recognitions granted by the Govt.s of India and Kerala and the various International Organisations on Arts and Culture are quite enough for the credibility of our Centre and sets our Yoga courses apart from rest of the Intense Hatha Yoga courses in India. Moreover, we dont have any prayer sessions, unlike in other Yoga schools and Ashrams, and hence you learn only Yoga for 5 hours a dayThe Basic course on Hatha Yoga will be conducted twice every year and the Teacher's course twice every year, following the basic course.Participants of the basic course can later attend an advanced course on Hatha Yoga which can help one to become a genuine yoga teacher. Only those who successfully complete the first course can attend the teacher's training course.The maximum number of participants is limited to 12, ensuring adequate personal attention to all.
